Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to tours and services booked with Lapland Explorers Oy in Rovaniemi, Finland. By booking a tour, you agree to follow the safety instructions given by our guides and to provide accurate contact and pickup information.

Bookings and payment

Bookings are confirmed through our booking provider or by direct agreement with Lapland Explorers. Prices, inclusions, pickup details, cancellation windows, and product-specific conditions are shown on the relevant tour page or booking checkout before payment.

Weather and aurora conditions

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon. We plan each hunt using live weather, cloud, and aurora data, but visibility can never be controlled. Tours may be adjusted, delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled if conditions or road safety require it.

Guarantee

Where a tour is sold with a money-back aurora guarantee, the guarantee applies according to the tour description shown at booking. The guarantee is based on guests seeing the aurora with their own eyes, not only on a camera-only exposure.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms depend on the tour and booking channel. If Lapland Explorers cancels a tour for safety, operational, or unrealistic weather reasons, guests will be offered the available remedy stated in the booking terms, such as rescheduling or refund.

Safety

Guests must follow guide instructions during transport, outdoor stops, campfire use, and winter conditions. Lapland Explorers may refuse participation when a guest's condition, clothing, or behavior creates a safety risk for themselves, other guests, or the guide.
